RLA Church

Is a family. It’s a family where you will find hope, healing, growth, and help. No matter how you got there, we’re happy you did.

Vision

  • We see a church that will value God’s presence before all things.

  • We see a church that will be committed to seeing their city and world flourish.

  • We see a church community that will be inclusive to all.

  • We see a church that will cultivate a loving environment.

  • We see a church that will be focused inwardly and outwardly.

  • We see a church that will be committed to the RLA-Church in time, energy, and resources.

  • We see a church that will impact whatever places of influence they have.

  • We see a church that is structured and spontaneous at the same time.

  • We see a church that will be built on the fivefold ministries: apostle, prophet, teacher, pastor, and evangelist.

  • We see a church that will follow and live out the life and teachings of Jesus.

  • We see a church that will have a deep friendship with God.

  • We see a church that is colorful and multi-generational.

  • We see a church that despite differences, it will be united.

  • We see a church that will have a heart for the unchurched.

  • We see a church that will be inspired by the God-stories in people’s lives.

BASIC BELIEFS

  • We believe that God is perfectly holy, just, loving and truthful.

  • We believe that our God has revealed Himself to be one being in three

persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. In

addition, we believe that all Three deserve equal honor and adoration.

  •  We believe that the infinite God became human through Jesus, the

Christ, to save and restore all creation.

  •  We believe that Jesus came to begin the establishment of God’s

Kingdom, which we are all called to establish with Him.

  • We believe that God has redeemed both women and men to equally lead

church and society.

  • We believe that sin distorts our relationship with God, people, and the rest of creation.

  • We believe that the church— the people all over the world that follow

Jesus— is a key to restoring the world.

  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and

authoritative Word of God.

  • We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are equally as important as the fruit

of the Spirit.

  • We believe that it is essential, if one wants to live flourishing lives, to go to Sunday gatherings, attend a small group, and spend quality, alone time with God throughout the week.
